Emma Taylor, 15, a student from Manchester had struggled with severe acne for over 6 years.
“I used to look in the mirror and try to imagine what I would look like with clear skin ... I couldn’t.”She tried an endless list of skincare products and diets to no avail. After three years of breakouts, Emma managed to get off the wait list for a dermatologist. Antibiotics only made things worse but six hard months of prescription oral medication helped to calm down her cysts. UPDATE: July 9, 2019 @myacnepage My scarring at the moment, i am honestly very very happy with it. When i think back to almost 1 year ago i feel very lucky to have skin like i do now! My scars are still here, they remind me daily of the struggles that i went through but they push me to keep going and that’s why i’m posting about it right now.
